| First you have a high performance car, most likely modded to push it well beyond the cooling limits it was designed for..... Then you pump the heat from the engine out in front means of an oil cooler, A/C condenser, and radiator.... Then you attempt to force all that heat back into the engine compartment, where it gets "stalled" by a huge engine profile.... If that wasn't enuff.... add to that the heat dissipated in the engine bay by I/C pipes, exhaust manifolds and turbine housings..... and be sure to add a front-mount intercooler for a little icing on the cake. Radiators, pumps, and fans just trade one problem for another but don't deal with the real shortcomings of the Z32 packaging. My silver '91 (for sale) stays hot under the hood for 3 hours after I shut it off. Call me crazy, but my slicktop project will be getting a custom ducted hood, radiators mounted in the rear with Porsche Carrerra GT style ducts.... and my new cast "tubular" manifolds with T3 housings.
